Fabricated right inner fender from a virgin sheet of 18 gauge sheetmetal. (The sheet metal cost about $15, and measured 3' x 2.5'. Not thrilled about the fact that it cost so much, considering a used hood only cost $10, and that measured like 4' x 4')
Looking at it now, that virgin sheet metal was pretty high quality, and didn't required any heavy sanding to get fitted. So I'm not that displeased about it.
During the process of fabrication, the door was removed. The top hinge bolts were rusted, so they snapped. Had to either replace the hinge, or find an alternative.
